Well originally I had it so shif was the menu and z was attack/check/interact and talk. X was the second item button. But someone mentioned using the shift and hating z for attacking. Problem being is that z is the systems registered activation button. So if the event requires a key press then it has to be Z. See this is my dilemma. I might not even change it. But I wanted the players and other developers opinions.

Played most of this last night, I have mixed feeling about it, but overall I think it's a great game.
The first puzzle wasn't hard, there are only so many combinations so eventually I figured it out, but I would agree that if there is supposed to be a clue anywhere nearby its not exactly obvious. I had been reading that the color of the paintings or something on the wall was the clue but when I got to the room it offered no help. I just randomly pushed blocks until it opened.
There's lots of stuff done right in this game and it was fun, but a few things bugged me. I'll write more details later.

I don't get it.. the first puzzle didn't seem hard at all to me? Anyway, I played through the demo a few days ago and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend that everyone plays it because it is the best rpg maker game I've played in a really long time.

Also, just a heads up. But you can press the number 3 key for a hint when you are older not as a child because the help line is story driven.

I really enjoyed this game. I can honestly say that this is already one of my favorite rpg maker games. I had so much fun playing it! :D I really liked your ABS as well. I spent a lot of time on the bonus map! You BETTER finish this!
By the way, are graphics custom? I noticed a few RTP tiles and stuff in there I think. Either way, they were very nice.
I'm probably going to play through this demo again.

Everything is completely custom, some of the stuff is RTP stuff reworked but other than that there isn't a single thing in there that I haven't personally touched.
